Parent' Association
Saint Fin Barre's has a very active Parents' Association which works in partnership with the Board of Management and Teachers.
St Fin Barre’s has an active Parents’ Association which promotes general interest in the welfare of the school. The activities and enthusiasm of the committee fosters home-school links which greatly enhance pupil/teacher/parent relationships and enable parents to make a real contribution to the education of their children. The association runs functions of educational and social value for parents and pupils. It organises functions which provide finance to improve facilities in the school.
Parents are asked to give an annual subscription to the Parents’ Association.
An Annual General Meeting of all parents is held in September and regular meetings of the committee, elected at the AGM, are held throughout the year. Regular newsletters keep parents informed of all activities.
The parents are also represented on the National Parents’ Council – Primary.
New committee members are always needed and welcomed.
